Outlook 2007 users should avoid browsing a SharePoint lists within Outlook. An important issue has been found while browsing lists and can impact the performance of Microsoft Outlook 2007.
While using the Contributor's Outlook Add-In, it is recommended to work only with the default home page of a SharePoint library that has been connected to Outlook in the online mode using the "Connect to Outlook" toolbar button. It is not recommended to browse from this home page to other SharePoint lists within the same window.
Please note that the issue should be fixed by installing the Office 2007 Service Pack 1. More information on the Service Pack 1 for Office can be found at the following URL:
