Why is Email Manager for Outlook not displaying in Outlook?

Issue: The Colligo Email Manager for Outlook group does not display in Outlook.

Resolution: The Colligo Email Manager for Outlook add-in may have encountered problems, causing Outlook to mark it as inactive. This means it no longer launches at start up. You need to change the status back to Active.

Outlook 2007 

In Outlook 2007, you need to have Administrative rights on your computer to disable add-ins. If you do not have these rights, contact your system administrator.

  1. Close Outlook and re-open it by right-clicking the program and choose Run As Administrator from the contextual menu.
  2. From the Tools menu, select Trust Center. The Trust Center screen displays.
  3. In the left pane, select Add-Ins:

  4. In the Manage section, ensure COM Add-ins is selected in the drop-down menu and click Go. The COM Add-Ins screen displays:
  5. In the Add-Ins available list, ensure the Colligo Email Manager box is checked.

Outlook 2010/2013

  1. Under the File tab, click Options. The Outlook Options screen displays.
  2. In the left pane, select Add-Ins:
  3. In the Manage section, ensure COM Add-ins is selected in the drop-down menu and click Go. The COM Add-Ins screen displays:
  4. In the Add-Ins available list, ensure the Colligo Email Manager box is checked.
  5. Click OK.
