Why is search not returning any results?

Issue: Search is not returning any results.

Resolution: Enable Anonymous Access at the site level by completing the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the site that you want to enable the access.
  2. Go to Site > Site Settings.
  3. In the Users and Permissions section, click Site Permissions.
  4. In the Permissions ribbon, click Anonymous Access.
  5. In the Anonymous Access screen, choose whether you want your anonymous users to have: Entire Web siteLists and libraries, or Nothing.
  6. Uncheck the Require Use Remote Interfaces permission box.
  7. Click OK.
