Choose your installer package depending on which Operating System you are running:
- For a 32-bit Operating System, use the x86 installer
- For a 64-bit Operating System, use the x64 installer
To determine which operating system you have, right-click on your computer icon and select Properties:
The following screen displays. The Operating System type you have displays under the System section:

- For 32-bit Office, use the x86 installer
- For 64-bit Office, use the x64 installer
To determine which version you have:
- Open Outlook and click the File tab.
- Select the Help option on the left. Under the About Microsoft Outlook section, the version is displayed, as shown below:
