How can I connect my Colligo product to an Office 365 site?

This article applies to:
7.x
Briefcase for Windows and Email Manager for Outlook
6.x
Briefcase for Windows, Contributor Pro and Email Manager for Outlook

Issue: If your Office 365 site does not have a sharepoint.com domain, the site won’t connect. The authentication prompt reappears continuously.

Resolution: In the registry, create a new String Value with the Value Name SharePointOnlineDomain in one of the following locations and add your Office 365 domain as the Value data:

Colligo Contributor 4.x

  • 32-bit Windows: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ColligoOfflineClient\General
  • 64-bit Windows: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ColligoOfflineClient\General

Colligo Email Manager for Outlook 5.x

  • 32-bit Office: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Colligo\EmailManager
  • 64-bit Office: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Colligo\EmailManager

Colligo Contributor Pro 6.x

  • 32-bit Office: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Colligo\Contributor\SharePointOnlineDomain
  • 64-bit Office: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Colligo\Contributor\SharePointOnlineDomain

Colligo Email Manager for Outlook and Briefcase for Windows 7.x

  • 32-bit Office: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Colligo\Contributor\SharePointOnlineDomain
  • 64-bit Office: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Colligo\Contributor\SharePointOnlineDomain

After you have added the key, remove the site and add it again.
