Colligo isn't working when McAfee is Enabled

McAfee Antivirus software may interfere with the syncing and moving of documents from Windows Explorer into the Colligo Storage folders. It is possible to configure McAfee such that it allows McAfee to allow for editing and moving of documents into the Colligo Storage folders. Instructions for the configuration are below . For more details on configuring McAfee please contact your McAfee Account Manager or McAfee Support. 

  1. Click Start, Run, type regedit, and click OK.
  2. Navigate to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\mfeEEFF
     
  3. Right-click mfeEEFF and select New, DWORD.
  4. Create a value called ExemptNonRemovable.
  5. Double-click ExemptNonRemovable, type 1 in the Value data field, and then click OK.
  6. Right-click mfeEEFF and select New, DWORD.
  7. Create a value called ExemptNetwork.
  8. Double-click ExemptNetwork, type 1 in the Value data field, and then click OK.
  9. Delete the following entries from the registry:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\CeDesktopIntegration
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\InternetShortcut\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\CeDesktopIntegration
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Folder\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\CeDesktopIntegration
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Folder\shellex\DragDropHandlers\CeDesktopIntegration

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Drive\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\CeDesktopIntegration
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Drive\shellex\DragDropHandlers\CeDesktopIntegration

     
  10. Delete the following registry sub-keys:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\*\shellex\PropertySheetHandlers\CeDesktopIntegration
    @="{93410D73-7EA0-40BC-BC7F-FBE12BBA10FF}"

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Folder\shellex\PropertySheetHandlers\CeDesktopIntegration
    @="{93410D73-7EA0-40BC-BC7F-FBE12BBA10FF}"

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ShellIconOverlayIdentifiers\CeDesktopIntegration
    @="{3CEC3E6D-ECF2-4B49-8A41-3B16DF8B9C3F}"
     
     
  11. Close the registry editor.
  12. Restart the system for the registry changes to be effective.
