In SharePoint, when you upload a document to the Drop-Off Library, the Content Organizer rules run and the distribution of the document happens right away.
If you upload a document to the Drop-Off Library in any Colligo product, the rules are not triggered immediately so the document sits in theDrop-Off Library until the rule is triggered at the interval set in SharePoint. To have the distribution of documents happen more quickly, you can change the setting in Central Administration in SharePoint to make the interval more frequent.
However, Colligo Email Manager Connected mode diverges from SharePoint when an item is uploaded to a target of a Content Organizer rule. While SharePoint obtains its field defaults from the Drop-off library, Email Manager Connected mode obtains its defaults from the location selected for upload.
