If you are synchronizing content in Briefcase for Windows, any action that interrupts the connection to the SharePoint server may result in the sync failing to complete. You will need to restart the program to restart the sync:
- Closing the laptop lid so the OS goes to sleep or into hibernation.
- Disconnecting from the internet or switching networks (eg. VPN to LAN)
- Docking and undocking a laptop
