Uploads Inconsistent

Hello,

There seems to be an issue with one of the primary users with upload of emails.  The behaviour is inconsistent, users has reported sometime it can take upto 2 hours before it appears and at other time it never reaches.

Please let me know what I can do to help resolve this issue.

Do you have an estimate on the number of items in the particular document library or folder?

Is this behaviour only occurring for one user, are other users affected?

As the behaviour is inconsistent, is the user always at the same location when this occurs or is it perhaps happening between different locations?

Could network or proxies be at play here if this only affects a single user and not others.

If you could also provide a copy of your logs as it happens, I can review them for any other potential causes. These can be located in the Event Viewer under Applications and Services Logs >  Colligo

Thanks Bernard,  Some days there are not problems for this user and other days it's impacting the workflow.  This is the only user since we are testing before deploying to other users in the department.

I can't figure out why it might be inconsistent, though the error itself is suggesting that the file may be checked out. Can you look in the library and see if there are any files which have been uploaded, but checked out to the original user who uploaded it?

Ravi,

Were you able to see whether or not the file was just uploaded to SharePoint as checked out on the specific library which had the error?

I also see a bunch of 401 unauthorized messages. What kind of authentication does your SharePoint server use?
